Give each child a paper bag and help them find the flap.
They place the bag flap side up.
Each child needs to pick a large and a small piece of paper in the colors of their choice. Be sure that they choose two different colors.
Using the larger piece of paper, the children draw a corner to corner “hill”.
They cut this out and glue it to the paper bag’s flap.
Using the smaller piece of paper they draw another corner to corner “hill” and cut that out.
From their scraps they cut two antennae.
Glue the smaller piece on top of the larger for the head.
Glue on the antennae.
The children can use crayons or stickers to add dots.
Then they draw a smile on their ladybug.
