Metamorphosis Finger Play
Ten little eggs on leaves all about (show ten fingers spread out)
Look, there are caterpillars starting to come out (wiggle fingers)
First they will eat ‘cause their life’s not complete (make hands
move in eating motion)
Next a chrysalis they’ll try (put one fist on top of the other)
And we know why
They’ll become a butterfly (make a flying butterfly with both hands
hooked at the thumbs)
