Snails Have One Foot
Materials
- small square of black or brown construction paper
- liquid glue and small containers for the glue
- snail clip art
- glitter
- aluminum pans
Background Information
Snails have one foot. They move along on their foot by creating a snail trail of slippery slime. When the slime dries, it sparkles.
Activity
The children glue a cut out snail on the right side of their paper.
Let them dip a finger into the glue and make a snail trail behind their cut out.
Put the picture into an aluminum pan and let the children sprinkle the trail with glitter.
