Bumble Bee Cupcakes
Ingredients:
- Your favorite cupcake recipe
- White frosting
- Black licorice
- Gumdrops or Jujube candy
- Thin Mint Cookies
- Yellow food coloring
- String licorice (any flavor)
Prepare and bake cupcakes according to recipe. While cupcakes are cooling, add yellow food coloring to frosting for the yellow color and then frost cupcakes. Cut black licorice into 2 to 3 inch pieces and lay on top of cupcakes for the bees’ stripes. Use gumdrops or jujube candies for eyes and string licorice pieces for antennae. Cut the thin mint cookies in half and push into the frosting on the outer edges of the cupcakes for the wings.
