Clock Face Snowflake
Materials
- laminated clock faces
- white glue
- snow glitter
- paper plates
- expo markers or wipe off markers (black crayons will work)
Pass out the paper plates and ask the children to write their names on the plate.
Pass out the clock faces and ask the children to place them onto the plate.
Then skip count around the clock face by twos.
Repeat but this time each child uses a marker to put a dot by the 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12.
With the glue children draw lines connecting 12 & 6, 2 & 8, and 4 & 10.
Count the lines from the middle radius. There should be six lines and six points.
Add “V” s to each point.
Sprinkle or spoon the glitter over the glue. (Do not remove the excess until the next day.)
Let the snowflakes dry overnight.
The next day remove the excess glitter.
Carefully peel off the snowflake.
The snowflakes are ready to display.
