Activity

This activity needs a large working space for each child. The children can spread out on the classroom floor or on a very calm day, they can work outside on the blacktop.

It works best to have the children paint the sponge dinosaur before making a print. If they dip into the paint, the print loses details.

When the children are finished, let the prints dry. Later they can use crayons or markers to add details to their work.
