Have fishing license pre-made. Put a picture of the student on it if possible. Make a “pond” out of a large cardboard box by painting it to look like a pond, with a hole cut in the top. One person is inside the box, waiting to attach cardboard animals to the fishing pole.
Talk about asking permission and using a fishing license.
Take turns asking the farmer permission to fish, then go fishing.
Once they have caught something, they need to place it on a poster of a pond in the proper area. For example, put a fish in the water, a dragonfly on the edges, etc.
