Nest Nibblers
Ingredients:
- Two large shredded wheat biscuits
- 4 cups coconut
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 cups of margarine or butter melted
- Muffin tin
- Foil
- Selection of cut up fresh fruit (red and green grapes, blueberries, strawberries, melon balls or canned fruit) or jelly beans
To make the nests, crumble the shredded wheat into a bowl. Add coconut and sugar. Add the melted margarine and stir.
Line each of the muffin pan cups with a piece of foil. Press the shredded wheat mixture into the muffin cups to make a nest shape. Place these in the oven at 350 degrees and bake for approximately 10 minutes. Cool on a rack.
Remove the nests from the foil and fill each nest with a selection of fruity eggs.
