Turkeys are becoming more common throughout the area. The male turkeys are the only ones who gobble. Male turkeys also are the only ones with fancy colorful feathers. The males do a fancy dance for the females using their feathers, snoods, and wattles. Turkeys can fly and they sleep in trees at night.

Prepare the craft sticks ahead of time by putting on the double stick tape.
The children can then very easily attach their turkey cut out. Children can then add an eye sticker.
Let the children use glue sticks to attach the feathers. (If the children understand patterning they can attach the feathers using a simple pattern.)
Pre-cut red feathers to make the wattles. Attach with the glue sticks.
Now the turkeys are ready to gobble.
